Tillandsia Eric Knobloch is a plant from the Bromeliad family with rather thick leaves covered in fine hairs that help the plant capture dew and general humidity. Tillandsias do not draw nourishment from their roots, but from their leaves. The roots, although present, perform no function other than that of support.
