Tillandsia bulbosa

Tillandsia bulbosa is a plant of the Bromeliaceae family with rather thick leaves covered with fine hairs that help the plant to capture dew and humidity in the air in general. Tillandsia does not draw nourishment from the roots, but from the leaves.
The roots, although present, do not perform any function other than that of support.
