Symphyotrichum borealis

This plant makes an excellent tankmate for Sarracenia.
It's not a carnivorous plant, but it grows well in peat or peat and perlite, and in the same humidity, temperature, and light conditions as sarracenia. It also thrives in shade. It has a shrubby growth habit and can reach half a meter in height.
It produces abundant blooms in autumn. Its flowers are purple or white.
