This plant makes an excellent tankmate for Sarracenia. It is not a carnivorous plant but it grows well in peat or peat and perlite and in the same humidity and temperature conditions as Sarracenia, that is, with a cm of water always present in the saucer. It grows well in direct sun all day. It produces a floral scape at the end of summer with small white flowers arranged in a spiral.
