Senecio rowleyanus String of Pearls

The Senecio rowleyanus, known as "string of pearls," requires plenty of indirect light and very little water. The key to successfully growing it is to use a very well-draining potting mix (with pumice or sand) and water only when the soil is completely dry to prevent root rot

It prefers very bright environments. Place it near a window, but shielded from direct sunlight during the hottest hours to prevent the "pearls" from burning.Being a succulent, it stores water in its leaves. Water sparingly only when the soil is completely dry (every 10-15 days). In winter, watering should be reduced to a minimum.
