Purpurea venosa very vigorous and XXL size. Its traps, especially the spring ones, are up to 25 cm long, are very round robust, really full-bodied pitchers and have a fine uniform hair that stands out on its red color. During the winter the plant turns completely red and the lip becomes black, really dark.
