Pinguicula laueana is a rosette carnivorous plant native to Central America. It lives in calcareous soils often clinging to vertical rock faces where water flows.
The leaves are covered with a layer of glue produced by specific glands.

Growing Tips
Growing Tips
Pinguicula loves diffused light and a few hours of direct sun. In the hot months it is preferable to keep it shaded while in winter it loves full sun. Avoid exposing it to temperatures below 5 degrees. It can be grown all year round behind a very bright window.
Watering
Watering
It loves calcareous water, so tap water is fine. In summer, one cm of water is enough in the saucer, while in winter it is reduced to allow it to return to the compact winter rosette. We return to dosing water in April with the arrival of spring.
