Pinguicula essiana "Black leaf" x potosiensis "Red leaves"

Hybrid pinguicula with a very bright purple colour.
The Pinguicula Esseriana is a carnivorous rosette plant native to Central America. It lives in calcareous soils often clinging to vertical rock faces where water flows.
The leaves are covered with a film of glue produced by specific glands.
