This plant makes an excellent tankmate for Sarracenia. It is not a carnivorous plant but it grows well in peat or peat and perlite and in the same conditions of humidity, temperature and light as sarracenia, it also grows very well in a shaded position. It has a shrubby growth and can even exceed a meter in height especially if planted in the ground
