Highland nepenthes are pitcher-trap carnivorous plants that grow in tropical mountains with warm days and a sharp drop in nighttime temperatures. Ideal temperatures are between 24-26 degrees Celsius (75-79 degrees Fahrenheit) during the day and 12-14 degrees Celsius (54-57 degrees Fahrenheit) at night. They love the evening humidity which brings relief from the strong daytime sun.
