It likes abundant direct sun all year round. It can be grown as a marsh plant, with water in the saucer as in Sarracenia: a couple of cm or more in the saucer in summer and half a cm in winter or even less will be enough, as long as the soil is moist. It is better to use demineralized or rain water but it also tolerates tap water.
