Heliamphora pulchella is a carnivorous plant of the Sarraceniaceae family, endemic to South America, in particular living in Venezuelan plateaus called Tepuis, 1000 to 2000 meters above sea level.
They have modified leaves, fused to form a sort of amphora, hence the name.
The leaves fill with heavy rainfall and act as a trap for insects that fall inside.
