Drosera uniflora Alerce Costero, Chile

Small sundew native to southern Chile but also distributed in Argentina and the Falkland Islands.
Subtropical sundews are carnivorous plants that produce drops of glue in the leaves to capture and digest small insects on which they feed.
They have adapted to a warm climate similar to the tropical one but characterized by cool but not harsh winters. However, in cultivation they also resist short frosts without any problem.
