Cephalotus follicularis "Martin Stöckl"

The cephalotus follicularis is a carnivorous plant native to Australia that specialises in catching ants and ground insects. It produces both leaves and carnivorous traps.
The pitchers are round-shaped pitfall traps. A peristome formed by many teeth causes insects to slide into the trap full of digestive fluid. The lid is variegated with brown stripes.
