Catopsis spec. Nicaragua is a NON-CARNIVOROUS plant that also grows near tepuis. It should be watered sparingly; its roots serve more for hanging from plants as an epiphyte than for absorbing water from the soil. A few sporadic waterings will do just fine. Use a very light, aerated substrate such as a mix of rehydrated sphagnum moss and perlite.
