Sarracenia alata var. rubrioperculata "Purple throat" Klein

Sarracenia alata green and veined with a very dark purple throat.
The sarracenia alata is a carnivorous plant of the sarracenia genus that lives in the humid meadows of the United States that extend from eastern Louisiana, through Mississippi and Texas to western Alabama.
It produces slender, bulbous ascidians only at the top.
The color of the trap can be very different depending on the variety, as in var. nigropurpurea which is dark brown or in var. alata which is quite green.
The flower of the sarracenia alata has white or cream-colored petals.
